Ingredients:

6 Apples sliced
1 Cup Sugar (optional)
1 Cup Flour A/P
1 Teaspoon Baking Powder heaping
1/4 Teaspoon Salt (generous)
1 Egg beaten
1 Teaspoon Cinnamon ground
1/4 Cup Water hot, as needed

Directions:

1. Slice apples into greased baking dish.

2. To make topping: Combine ingredients, add to well beaten egg and mix until crumbly.

3. Spread over apples. Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar mixture.

4. Dot with butter and pour 1/4 cup water over top.

5. Bake at 350F for about 50 minutes or until top is browned and apples are done.
