Easy Danish Apple Cake

Ingredients:

1 Cup Sugar (for decoration)
1 1/2 Cups Flour plus extra flour for dredging
1/2 Teaspoon Cinnamon (generous)
1 Teaspoon Extract Of Vanilla or almond extract
1 Teaspoon Baking Soda (dissolved in a little warm water)
1/4 Cup Butter or margarine
1 Egg beaten
1/2 Cup Walnut chopped
2 Cups Apples peeled &

Directions:

1. Cream margarine and sugar.

2. Add egg and vanilla, beating well. Add flour, baking soda and cinnamon and blend well.

3. Add grated apples and beat well by hand. Pour into greased 9-by-9-inch pan.

4. Combine all topping ingredients and sprinkle on batter.
