Ingredients:

2 Teaspoons Baking Powder
3/4 Teaspoon Salt pinch
1 Cup Brown Sugar up to 3 T
1 Egg yolk Lg, Beaten
1 Cup Butter clarified **
1 Teaspoon Extract Of Vanilla or almond extract
1/2 Cup Water (more if needed)
1 1/3 Cups Coconut toasted*
1 3/4 Cups Flour plus additional
1 Cup Dried Fig (chopped)

Directions:

1. Cream together the butter and brown sugar.

2. Mix in the egg and vanilla. In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder and salt.

3. Add all at once to creamed mixture, and blend well.

4. Roll dough between your palms into balls the size of a walnut (very sticky, don't worry).

5. Roll in coconut, place on baking sheet, and press down center of each with a pecan half.
