1 Cup Shortening (solid)
6 Tablespoons Water salt
1 Egg and
3 Cups Flour Sifted

2. Cut shortening into flour. beat egg with 5 tablespoons of water.

3. Add to flour mixture. Use remaining water, if necessary.
