The Four Spice cake is a very easy and a delicious cake which can be completed with in very short time and serve.The Four Spice cake can be made with a limited ingredients but with a delicious taste.The cake which is brushed with Orange Syrup make the cake look attractive and tasty.
1. Soak raisins in hot water to cover until plump.
Drain.
2. Sift together flour, soda, nutmeg, cinnamon, allspice, cloves, and salt into large bowl.
3. Stir in brown sugar.
Beat egg whites lightly in another bowl.
4. Stir into dry ingredients along with drained raisins just until blended.
5. Pour into 2-quart fluted tube pan sprayed with non-stick vegetable spray.
6. Bake at 350 degrees F.
35 to 45 minutes or until cake tests done in center.
7. Brush cake with Orange Syrup and decorate with orange slices.
