Fruit Tea Loaf

Ingredients:

1 Egg lightly beaten
1 Cup Water Boiling
1 Cup Raisin dark, seedless (optional)
1 Teaspoon Baking Soda
1 Cup Flour
1 Cup Oatmeal
1 Ounce Butter or margarine
1 Cup Sugar

Directions:

1. Wash the raisins and place in a bowl with the boiling water and baking soda.

2. Cream the butter into the flour and oatmeal, add the sugar and beaten egg, then the fruit and water.

3. Mix thoroughly and pour into a greased loaf tin.

4. Bake at 400 for 1 hour.
