German Potato Salad - Award Winning Recipe

Ingredients:

1 Cup Vinegar white
1 Cup Sugar (for decoration)
5 Pounds Potatoes cut in thick chunks
1 Teaspoon Dry Mustard optional
1 Teaspoon Pepper small/chopped
1 Tablespoon Salt pepper,sugar to taste
1/2 Pound Bacon cook, crumble
1 Cup Water boiling
3 Onions chopped
4 Eggs chopped Boiled

Directions:

1. Boil potatoes until tender; peel and slice while still warm.

2. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Heap onions in center of potatoes.

3. Fry bacon until crisp, drain and crumble on top of onions.

4. Add water to bacon fat. Add sugar, mustard and vinegar.

5. Pour over potatoes and toss lightly. Garnish with eggs and parsley.
