Glazed Radishes, Carrots, and Peas

Ingredients:

3/4 Teaspoon Sugar (for decoration)
1/4 Cup Water room temperature
18 Ounces Radishes finely chopped
1/2 Teaspoon Pepper small/chopped
1 1/2 Teaspoons Salt pepper,sugar to taste
1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice up to 4
1/2 Cup Butter or margarine
20 Ounces Peas frozen
3 Cans Carrots small(16 oz)

Directions:

1. Drain cans of carrots.

2. In 6-quart saucepan over medium heat, heat butter or margarine, water, lemon juice, and radishes to boiling.

3. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 30 minutes, stirring often, or until radishes are tender.

4. Drain the carrots. Add carrots and remaining ingredients; cook 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, or until carrots and peas are heated through.
