Granadan Baked Bananas

Ingredients:

1 Cup Brown Sugar packed
1 Cup Fresh Orange Juice see note
1/2 Cup Dark Rum or to taste
1/2 Teaspoon Cinnamon to garnish
1/2 Teaspoon Nutmeg Ground
1 Teaspoon Extract Of Vanilla to taste
4 Unit Ripe Bananas peeled & sliced lengthwise

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees (F).

2. Grease well a 9 inch ovenproof pan. Put the brown sugar in a heavy saucepan.

3. Heat carefully until it liquefies. Add the orange juice, rum, cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla.

4. Boil for a few seconds. Then, pour over the bananas.

5. Place in the oven and bake for about 30 minutes.
