Green Beans and Onions

Ingredients:

1/4 Teaspoon Salt pepper to taste,
1/8 Teaspoon Pepper optional
1 Pound Green Beans or peas (fresh or frozen)
2 Tablespoons Olive Oil plus more
1 Clove Of Garlic chopped
12 Pearl Onions peeled

Directions:

1. Put onions in a small amount of boiling salted water in a saucepan.

2. Cover and cook 15 minutes, or until onions are tender.

3. When finished, drain. Meanwhile, wash fresh green beans, and break off ends.

4. On the top shelf of a grill, gently lay the green beans and grill until tender.

5. Heat oil and garlic in a skillet until garlic is slightly browned.

7. Add and onions, season with salt and pepper, and cook 5 minutes until thoroughly heated. Combine with beans and serve fresh.
