This quick and easy dish will have them coming back for more when this colorful dip is put out on the buffet in a clear pie plate or other shallow glass dish. Not just another nacho dip for grownups, it is also a great way to get your children to eat their veggies when served in clear, individual custard cups with snow peas, carrots, red bell pepper and those canned tiny ears of corn poking out from the top.
1. Shred cheese and mix together.
Mash avocados with 1 tablespoon lemon juice and 1 tablespoon mayonnaise.
2. Mix Taco mix with sour cream and 1 cup mayonnaise.
3. Mix cheddar and Monterey Jack cheeses together.
4. Put in layers, starting at bottom of dish.
Serves 20.
Recipe may be halved.
Serve in a flat dish.
