Ham Puffs

This is a simple but great recipe for entertaining small or large groups of people. It is easy to make and tastes great.

Ingredients:

8 oz Cream Cheese softened
1 Egg yolk of
1 tablespoons Baking Powder
12 White Bread slices thin
4 1/2 oz Deviled Ham

Directions:

1. Combine cream cheese with egg yolk, baking powder, and a dash of salt; mix until blended and smooth.

2. Cut 4 small rounds from each slice of bread using a biscuit cutter or small glass.

3. Spread each round lightly with mayonnaise.

4. Spread each with a thin layer of deviled ham.

5. Spoon the cheese mixture on the ham. Sprinkle with paprika.

6. This much can be done ahead and the appetizers frozen, if you desire.

7. To serve, put into a moderately hot oven (375) for 12-15 minutes, or until puffed and browned.

8. Serve immediately.
