Heart-Puff Pastries

A soft, flaky, fruity pastry.

Ingredients:

1/2 dash Puff Pastry sheet thawed
8 oz Strawberries preserves jar
1 cup Cool Whip thawed
4 Strawberries 4 quartered vertically
1 Semisweet Chocolate melted square

Directions:

1. Cut one pastry sheet into 16 2-inch hearts.

2. Place hearts on baking sheet and bake at 350 for 20 minutes or until golden.

3. Cool completely and cut each puffed heart into two heart-shaped sandwich halves.

4. Put a slice of strawberry on the bottom piece and spread one teaspoon each of jam and Cool Whip on each sandwich of pastry pieces.

5. Melt chocolate and drizzle it over the sandwiches.
