Directions:
1. Cream the shortening and sugar; add the beaten egg and mix well.2. Mix together and sift flour, salt and baking powder; add to creamed mixture alternately with milk.3. Spread dough in a greased 8x8x2 inch pan. Spread the blueberries over dough.4. Mix and sift together 1/2 cup sugar, 1/2 cup flour, and 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon; cut in 1/3 cup of margarine or butter and a crumbly mixture results.5. Spread this mixture over the blueberries. Bake in a moderately hot oven, 375 degrees F 1 to 1 1/4 hours.
