Homemade Strawberry and Rhubarb Jam

Ingredients:

3 Cups Strawberries fresh/frozen
1 Orange slices
1 Cup Rhubarb fresh or frozen,
4 Cups Sugar Brown Water

Directions:

1. Wash, hull and drain berries.

2. Measure slightly crushed berries. Cut unpeeled orange into quarters.

3. Remove seeds. Chop or finely grind. Mix all ingredients in a large heavy bottomed saucepan.

4. Bring to a boil over high heat. Stir, boiling hard, until thick.

5. About 12 to 15 minutes. Remove from heat. Skim off foam and stir for 5 minutes.
