Ingredients:

1 Tablespoon Salt to taste
5 Cups Water warm
1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
1 1/2 Tablespoons Tomato Paste
1/8 Teaspoon Chili Powder
1 Bay Leaf
1 Clove Of Garlic
1 Cup Onion Chopped
1/2 Cup Parsley Chopped
1 Cup Carrot Diced
1 Cup Lentils Red
1/2 Cup Celery Sliced Thin

Directions:

1. Put first 7 ingredients in pot.

2. Bring to a boil then add next 4 ingredients and continue simmering till lentils are soft.

3. Approx. 2 hrs. Just before serving add the chopped parsley.
