Mom's Pork Chops

Ingredients:

1 Tablespoon Butter Soft
4 Boneless Pork Chops (about 1 lb.)
4 Tablespoons Cornstarch (15 g)
3 Cups Milk whole
1 Cup Cheddar Cheese grated
4 Cups Potatoes sliced as for scalloped potatoes (up to 5)

Directions:

1. Preboil the potatoes.

2. Brown the pork chops. While they are browning, make the sauce (butter, milk, cheese, cornstarch) in a saucepan.

3. Stir until hot and bubbly and smooth. I use a whip.

4. Put the sliced cooked potatoes into a greased casserole dish (I use Pam).

5. Pour sauce over the top, then lay pork chops on top of that.

6. Season to your taste. I like Lawry's Seasoned Salt.

7. Bake at 350 deg F I cover with tin foil for about 20 minutes until everything is good and hot, then I take the cover off for about 10 minutes.

8. To be honest with you, I add more than one cup of cheese, hubby likes it really creamy and juicy.
