Nutty French Toast

Ingredients:

8 Eggs at room temperature
1/2 Teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
3/4 Cup Butter or margarine softened
2 Cups Milk
2 Teaspoons Extract Of Vanilla
1 1/3 Cups Brown Sugar Packed
3 Tablespoons Dark Corn Syrup
1 Cup Walnut chopped
12 Slices French Bread in 1 inch slices

Directions:

1. Place bread in a greased 13x9" baking dish.

2. In a large bowl, beat eggs, milk, vanilla and cinnamon; pour over the bread.

3. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Remove from the refrigerator 30 minutes before baking.

4. Meanwhile, in a mixing bowl, cream butter, brown sugar and syrup until smooth; spread over bread.

5. Sprinkle with nuts. Bake, uncovered, at 350 F for 1 hour or until golden brown.
