1 Teaspoon Baking Powder
1/4 Cup Milk
1/2 Cup Shortening
1 Cup Oatmeal
1 Cup Flour unsifted

Directions make no sense. Eggs and milk are already mixed together in step 1. How to beat them in step 4. (?) then
