Old-Fashioned Green Beans

Ingredients:

6 Bacon strips cut into 1/2 inch pieces
2 lb Fresh Green Beans
3 tablespoons Brown Sugar
1/2 cup Water

Directions:

1. In a large skillet, cook bacon over medium heat until crisp-tender, about 5 minutes.

2. Add beans, brown sugar, and water. Stir gently; bring to a boil.

3. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 15 minutes or until beans are crisp-tender.

4. Remove to a serving bowl with a slotted spoon.
