2. Peel and slice the apples. Arrange the apple slices in an even layer in a lightly greased pie plate.
3. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon. Prepare the topping by combining cooled melted butter, brown sugar, chopped nuts and flour in a bowl.
4. Add the eggs and blend thoroughly. Spread the topping evenly over the apples.
5. Bake until the apples are soft and the topping is lightly browned (about 35 minutes).
6. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and chopped pecans.
