1 Cup Raisin (dunk in wiskey)
1 Cup Persimmon pulp
1/2 Teaspoon Ground Cloves
1/2 Teaspoon Salt coarse
1 Cup Shortening
2 Cups Flour
1/2 Teaspoon Nutmeg
1 Teaspoon Baking Soda
1 Cup Sugar
1 Egg lightly beaten

1. Cream shortening and sugar, add egg and beat.

2. Add all the rest. Drop by teaspoon and bake at 350 - 15 minutes.
