Seafood Soup with Garlic and Ginger

Ingredients:

3 Tablespoons Butter Or Vegetable, 3 Tbl
8 Ounces Scallops up to 12 (U 10)
2 Onions peeled and quartered
2 Leeks white part only
2 Cups Garlic Coarsely chopped
8 Ounces Shrimp peeled
4 Cups Chicken Broth unsaltd
6 Green Onions finely chopped, white &
1 Pinch Ginger size of a quar

Directions:

1. Use metal blade- Add onion, garlic, ginger and CHOP with4 or 5 quick pulses.

2. Remove from bowl. Refit with med slicing disc.

3. Slice leeks through the small tube. Remove. Heat butter in saucepan and add onion, garlic, ginger and leeks.

4. Cook 10 minutes until veggies are very tender and fragrant.

5. Cut seafood into approx. 1/2 in. pieces. Add to veggies and cook 1 minutes Add stock and bring to boil.

6. Cook 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Meanwhile, with work bowl fitted with thin slicing disc, slice green onions through the small feed tube.

7. Cook one minute and then serve. This has a wonderful flavor but may need some adoptions to make in quantity.

8. ...I have thought I might try it with chicken instead of the seafood.
