Directions:

1. Rub the butter into the flour and add the other dry ingredients.

2. Mix thoroughly. Beat the eggs. Stir the eggs and milk into the flour mixture.

3. Bake in a tin lined with greaseproof paper. Bake in a moderate oven (350/F or Mark for 30 minutes and then at 300/F or Mark 2 for a further 12 hours.
