Shrimp in Ginger Sauce

Simple Chinese stir fry. Tasty and delicious, mild sauce. Great main dish for family meal, wonderful served with rice or noodles!

Ingredients:

2 tablespoons Dry Sherry
1 tablespoon Light Soy Sauce
1 tablespoon Water
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Sugar
2 tablespoons Cilantro fine chopped
3 teaspoons Sesame Oil Toasted
1 lb Shrimp Raw
1 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Cornstarch
1 1/2 tablespoons Peanut Oil
3 tablespoons Ginger chopped

Directions:

1. Mix together the sauce ingredients and set aside.

2. Peel the prawns and discard the shells.

3. Combine them with salt, cornstarch, and 1 tsp toasted sesame oil.

4. Heat a wok or large skillet, and then add the peanut oil, shrimp, and ginger.

5. Stir-fry the mixture for 30 seconds.

6. Then add the sauce ingredients and continue to cook for 2 minutes. Serve at once.
