Directions:
1. Cream shortening and sugar until fluffy.2. Add molasses. Sift 2 c flour with spices. Put soda in sour milk and add to the first ingredients.3. Add enough flour (small amounts at a time or the dough will be stiff and produce a tough cookie) to produce a rollable cookie dough.4. Roll about 1/4 inch thick and cut with a cookie cutter.5. ** If the dough is too sticky, refrigerate for about two hours before rolling.6. Bake on a greased cookie sheet for 8-10 min at 375.
