1/4 Teaspoon Nutmeg Ground
1 1/2 Cups Pumpkin peeled and chopped
1/4 Cup Water (you may need more)
2 Tablespoons Sugar brown, packed
1/4 Teaspoon Cloves (up to 6)
1/2 Teaspoon Allspice ; crushed
1/2 Teaspoon Cinnamon stick
1/4 Teaspoon Ginger finely grated
1/4 Cup Dark Brown Sugar packed

1. TRY USING THIS ADDED TO WHIPPED CREAM TO GARNISH PUMPKIN PIE Combine the two sugars, water, allspice, ginger, cloves, nutmeg and cinnamon in a 4-cup glass measure.

2. MW on HIGH 3 minutes; stir. Add pumpkin and MW on HIGH 5 minutes.

3. Let cool and refrigerate. Keeps several weeks in refrigerator or can be frozen.

4. YIELD: 2 cups NOTE: Use this as you would apple butter.
