Oysters and sausage: a match made in heaven. In this recipe, an oyster and sausage stuffing is baked in the shell. Try it as an impressive first course.
Ingredients:
1 lb Sausage country-style
1 Oyster Pint of drained and chopped
1/2 cup Parsley chopped
4 White Bread Slices of
4 tablespoon Butter
12 Oysters medium-sized shelled,cleaned and boiled for a few
4. Stir in crumbled bread, butter and 1/2 cup of lemon juice.
5. Add some oyster juice if stuffing is not moist enough. Stuff into clean oyster shell.
6. Bake in a shallow pan at 250 degrees for 30 minutes.
