Sugar Puffs

Ingredients:

1/8 Teaspoon Salt pepper to taste
1 Egg yolk Lg, Beaten
1 Tablespoon Milk cold
1 Cup Flour all purpose

Directions:

1. Beat together egg, salt and milk.

2. Add enough flour to make a stiff dough. Stir until blended.

3. Turn out on slightly floured board and roll until as thin as paper.

4. Cover with clean towel add leave for a half hour to dry.

5. Cut in one and one-half inch squares. Fry in deep fryer until a delicate brown.

6. Drain on paper towels. While hot, sprinkle with confectioners sugar or cinnamon.
