Sweet-And-Sour Potatos

Ingredients:

1/4 Teaspoon Pepper Ground
1/4 Teaspoon Salt Pepper
3/4 Cup Vinegar cider or wine
3/4 Cup Sugar (+more if needed)
8 New Potatoes boiled in skin
1 Onion medium, diced
4 Bacon slices, cut up

Directions:

1. Peel and cube potatoes.

2. Add diced onion, salt, pepper, and sugar. Reserve in a covered bowl.

3. In a small frypan, fry the bacon until crisp.

4. Add the vinegar to the hot bacon and bring to a boil.

5. Pour immediately over potato mixture, mix well.

6. If too tart, add a little more sugar before serving.

7. Cut endive or leaf lettuce add to this is very good.
