2 Cups Sugar
1 Cup Raisin dark, seedless (optional)
2 Teaspoons Baking Soda
2 Teaspoons Cinnamon
3 Cups Flour
2 Cups Mixed Nuts Choppped
1/4 Teaspoon Cloves
1 Teaspoon Salt coarse
1 Cup Dates
2 Tablespoons Vegetable Oil
1 Cup Milk
2 Cups Persimmon pulp

1. Mix nuts, raisins, dates, persimmon pulp.

2. Add sugar and oil together; add to dry ingredients. Stir in milk; mix well.

3. Bake in tube pan at 325 for 1-1/2 hours. Cool in pan. Do not turn pan upside down as with angel food cake. Do not remove until absolutely cold.
