Garlic Half Sour Dill Pickles

Ingredients:
48 Cucumbers 48 Cucumbers about 4" long use Kirby& or unwaxed cuke
1 Unit Kosher Salt 1 Unit Kosher salt NOT table salt must be coarse salt
1 Unit Clove Of Garlic 1 Unit Clove Of Garlic - minced
1 Unit Pickling Spice 1 Unit Mixed pickling spices
1. Wash cucumbers and place in an upright position in sterilized jars.
2. To each quart of cucumbers add 1 teaspoon salt, 4 garlic cloves, and 1/4 teaspoon pickling spices.
3. Place 1 sprig of dill with about 1/4 t. dried dill seed on top of each jar.
4. Fill with cold water and let stand for 5 minutes before sealing.
5. Store in cool dry place for about 2 weeks before using.
